Three control mounts which attach to the couch assembly as armrests.
Full set of control mounts includes a Translation Control (TC) mount (at bottom) and number 1 &
2 Rotation Control (RC) mounts.
May be lengthened and rotated as needed, and also rotated around their couch mounting points.
Bottom photo shows extended positions, and Rotation Control mount pivot unlocked.
Design changed for Apollo 13 and subsequent, incorporating a squeeze handle instead of a slide tab,
to unlock the mount for rotation at the couch mounting point.
