  • Displays mission elapsed time in days, hours, minutes, and seconds using individual lamps for each numeric segment.
  • Black “dot” above display illuminates red to indicate failure of a display segment.
  • In-flight NASA photo of Endeavour flight deck below shows the location of the forward mission timer.
  • Inside are circuit cards to drive each display. Note the precision cut lid for supporting the circuit cards.
  • The connector is on the side because of limited space behind the control panel.
  • This simulator unit was used in training.
