Gemini Exhibit Concept
  • Concept for a Gemini cockpit exhibit.
  • Features a cutaway section on the right side, allowing everyone to know how it would feel to be inside a Gemini spacecraft.
  • The cutaway allows viewing out the right side hatch window, with the same viewpoint as the Gemini astronauts.
  • The concept captures every detail of the control panels, hatch locking mechanism, windows, command pilot’s ejection seat, stowage areas, and consoles in authentic realism.
  • The spacecraft adapter and nose section could be added for a depiction of the Gemini in flight.
  • References several hundred actual blueprints of the Gemini spacecraft. (See Our Approach to building exhibits.)
  • Illustrations below depict a digital model of the exhibit concept.

The Gemini Control Panel Simulator shows how realistic this exhibit would look.
