Meter, gauge or indicator for displaying the LM Descent Engine throttle setting in percent.
The commanded setting (whether set by the guidance system or by the astronaut) would be displayed under
“CMD.”
The actual Descent Engine throttle setting would be displayed under “ENG.”
The Apollo LM Descent Engine was considered unstable between 60% and 100% of full thrust. So in practice the throttle
would normally only be set for 0% through 60%, or for 100%.
Note that while the LM Descent Engine had variable thrust, the LM Ascent Engine did not.
